Curse

My party killed all the mobs and the quest updated but we died before being able to talk to Archivist Ithamar.

I went back to his spot but there is no green mark or arrow. The green arrow before leads into the North Kryta Province.

Any ideas on where he is or I have a bugged mission?

Yeah, same exact thing happened to me. I've had this quest in my log bugging me forever. Have you figured it out yet?

This happened to me as well. I just went back to the last city and went back, killed the nightmares again, and made sure we didn't die

. Just go back to where he is and do quest again.

I have something slightly different. I did this quest with an all henchman party . I died at the very end. My monk was on the platform behind Archivest Ithimar and couldn't come down to res me (blocked by the npc). I logged out, and reconnected. I now show the quest complete with the remaining step of seeing Ithimar to gain my reward. But there is no Ithimar in the zone anymore. I've left and returned many times. The location is always empty. The platform in the swamp is there but without any NPC.

Anyone else solve this wrinkle?

Just get someone who hasn't completed the quest to go with you...then you can talk to the archivist.

I've always done this with henchies and never die
